Tailored for Christian student leaders, the summit revolved around the theme “Emphasizing Christ’s Leadership Mandate on Campus” (Judges 7:17), offering a spiritually enriching experience.
Pastor Simeon Sembu Koroma, the theme speaker, illuminated Christ’s leadership as a sacred character and responsibility, emphasizing accountability rooted in service rather than the allure of titles. His teachings resonated with the core principles of our Christian faith, providing profound insights for both students leaders and general membership.
Other facilitators shared wisdom aligned with commitment to Christ-centered leadership, tailored for the unique journey of Christian students on campus, home and society.
Topics dealt with includes:
Biblical Wisdom for Campus Life: The RLTC delved into vital topics such as managing sexual purity on campus, stewardship of God’s resources, contending and conquering as Christ-centered student leaders, and the intertwining of service, excellence, and entrepreneurship from a biblical perspective, providing practical guidance for the challenges faced by Christian students.

The RLTC pinnacle was a symbolic handing-over ceremony of the Student Representative Council (SRC). Outgoing chairman, Victor Ethelbert, passed the mantle to Ahmadu Barrie of UNIMTECH campus, symbolizing the Christ-centered leadership transition and encouraging graduates to carry forth the torch.

Upcoming Event with Christ at the Center: The summit concluded with an announcement of the upcoming Sierra Leone Students Worship God event, designed as a Christ-centered gathering, and to be hosted at UNIMTECH, extending an invitation to all Christian students and graduates to join in worship and fellowship.
