IFES World Student Day!

World Student Day is an annual global day of prayer organized by the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES). On this special day, Christian students, graduates, and staff from over 180 countries unite in prayer for one another, for their universities, and for God’s mission in the student world.
For SLEFES, World Student Day is a time to join our global IFES family in thanksgiving and intercession. We celebrate what God is doing through students across Sierra Leone and beyond, and we pray for revival, unity, and bold witness on every campus.
As part of this year’s observance, SLEFES prayer clusters will be meeting across the nation at the following times:
- Freetown: 11:30 a.m.
- Makeni, Kenema, Bo, and Mokonde: 10:00 a.m.
- Kono: 5:00 p.m.
Each year’s World Student Day focuses on a specific theme and highlights stories of faith from different parts of the world. Whether gathered online or in person, we stand together as one global movement declaring Jesus Christ as Lord of the campus and Lord of the nations.
