STUDENTS FEEDBACK
The topics addressed in this conference was timely, the student leaders see the conference as a mandate that they should be authentic as well as develop the next generation of Authentic leaders that will provide leadership for the campus fellowship.
CHALLENGES
The students’ cooperation for the program in term of attendance was good but didn’t have representative from the different CUs in the western region, which was our goal, to train leaders in all the campuses were SLEFES is in operation.
The student constituent direly need to step up in the area of their commitment and responsibility, in order for the effective and efficient running of their lunch time fellowship on campus
We have seen low commitment on our student leaders in the area of acquiring new skills especially on leadership development, integrity management and capacity building.
RECOMMENDATION
We encourage and motivate our student leaders to embrace knowledge acquisition and skill development as the keys towards strategic leadership. Knowledge is a unique tool to build a firm foundation in our leadership development journey.
Our student leaders in the different campuses should prepare to attend leadership development training programs such as the Public Lectures and Regional Leadership Training Conference.
CONCLUSION
To God be the glory! The regional leadership training conference was successful, By God’s grace our student leaders are ready to maximize the knowledge gained as well as the required skills needed in the Christian Union base on our mission statement REACHING STUDENTS FOR CHRIST TO IMPACT OUR NATION.
