DESCRIPTION:World Student Day is an annual global day of prayer organized by the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES). On this special day\, Christian students\, graduates\, and staff from over 180 countries unite in prayer for one another\, for their universities\, and for God’s mission in the student world. \n\n\n\nFor SLEFES\, World Student Day is a time to join our global IFES family in thanksgiving and intercession. We celebrate what God is doing through students across Sierra Leone and beyond\, and we pray for revival\, unity\, and bold witness on every campus. \n\n\n\nAs part of this year’s observance\, SLEFES prayer clusters will be meeting across the nation at the following times: \n\n\n\n\nFreetown: 11:30 a.m.\n\n\n\nMakeni\, Kenema\, Bo\, and Mokonde: 10:00 a.m.\n\n\n\nKono: 5:00 p.m.\n\n\n\n\nEach year’s World Student Day focuses on a specific theme and highlights stories of faith from different parts of the world. Whether gathered online or in person\, we stand together as one global movement declaring Jesus Christ as Lord of the campus and Lord of the nations.

DESCRIPTION:As part of our 43rd Anniversary Celebration\, the Sierra Leone Fellowship of Evangelical Students (SLEFES) invites all students\, associates\, parent and minisry partners to our Family Day Out\, a joyful time of fellowship\, laughter\, and thanksgiving in God’s presence. \n\n\n\nThis special gathering reminds us that SLEFES is not just a movement but a family united by faith and love. It is a day to relax\, reconnect and celebrate the goodness of God together. There will be worship\, fun games\, testimonies and shared moments that strengthen our bond as one SLEFES family. \n\n\n\nThe SLEFES @43 Family Day Out will be hosted in Freetown\, Bo\, Kenema\, Makeni\, and Kono on Saturday\, October 25\, 2025\, starting at 10:00 a.m. Associates are warmly encouraged to come along with their spouses\, children and friends to share in this atmosphere of joy\, gratitude\, and fellowship. \n\n\n\nAs we mark SLEFES @43\, let us come together to celebrate God’s faithfulness and renew our commitment to His mission. It will be a day filled with smiles\, songs\, and stories that remind us that we are one family under God.

DESCRIPTION:Each year\, the Sierra Leone Fellowship of Evangelical Students (SLEFES) gathers across the nation to offer heartfelt thanks to God for His faithfulness\, provision and transforming work among students and graduates. The SLEFES National Thanksgiving is a time of joyful worship\, reflection and renewed commitment to the mission of building sanctified minds that transform the nation for Christ. \n\n\n\nThis year marks 43 years of SLEFES\, four decades of God’s grace in shaping lives\, campuses and communities across Sierra Leone. Under the theme “Give Us the Nation” (Psalm 2:8)\, the National Thanksgiving brings together students\, associates\, church leaders and ministry partners to celebrate God’s goodness and rededicate their hearts to His purpose.
