SUMMARY:SLEFES WEST RLTC 2024
DESCRIPTION:In a sacred atmosphere of unity\, the SLEFES Western Region recently concluded its Regional Leadership Training Conference from the 7th to the 9th of March 2024 at Jui – Jesus the Lamb of God Church. Tailored for Christian student leaders\, the summit revolved around the theme “Emphasizing Christ’s Leadership Mandate on Campus” (Judges 7:17)\, offering a spiritually enriching experience.Pastor Simeon Sembu Koroma\, the theme speaker\, illuminated Christ’s leadership as a sacred character and responsibility\, emphasizing accountability rooted in service rather than the allure of titles. His teachings resonated with the core principles of our Christian faith\, providing profound insights for both students leaders and general membership. \n\n\n\nOther facilitators shared wisdom aligned with commitment to Christ-centered leadership\, tailored for the unique journey of Christian students on campus\, home and society.Topics dealt with includes:Biblical Wisdom for Campus Life: The RLTC delved into vital topics such as managing sexual purity on campus\, stewardship of God’s resources\, contending and conquering as Christ-centered student leaders\, and the intertwining of service\, excellence\, and entrepreneurship from a biblical perspective\, providing practical guidance for the challenges faced by Christian students. \n\n\n\nSymbolic Handing Over Ceremony:The RLTC pinnacle was a symbolic handing-over ceremony of the Student Representative Council (SRC). Outgoing chairman\, Victor Ethelbert\, passed the mantle to Ahmadu Barrie of UNIMTECH campus\, symbolizing the Christ-centered leadership transition and encouraging graduates to carry forth the torch. The SLEFES – FBC presented a powerful drama on the theme “Life on Campus\,” bringing Christ’s teachings to life. A Spirit-led panel discussion allowed student leaders and graduates to share their faith-inspired perspectives\, creating a session filled with glory and revelation. \n\n\n\nUpcoming Event with Christ at the Center: The summit concluded with an announcement of the upcoming Sierra Leone Students Worship God event\, designed as a Christ-centered gathering\, and to be hosted at UNIMTECH\, extending an invitation to all Christian students and graduates to join in worship and fellowship.Overflowing Blessings: Despite challenges such as exams and university fears\, the summit\, attended by approximately 43 students\, became a sacred family moment. It was a testament to our commitment to Christ-centered unity\, learning\, and spiritual growth within the SLEFES community. Praise be to Him who strengthens us!

Degrees are earned. Vision is high. But structure is missing. Many begin businesses informally\, passionately\, yet without governance\, legal clarity\, or financial discipline. Within three years\, most collapse.SLEFES refuses to watch this pattern continue. In partnership with Viridis Edge Consulting\, SEB 2026 is designed to intentionally produce 25 disciplined\, ethical\, investment-ready entrepreneurs who will not merely start businesses\, but build sustainable enterprises that carry the fragrance of Christ into the marketplace. \n\n\n\nWHY THIS MATTERS TO SLEFESSLEFES disciples students spiritually.
